About the Practice
Geha Family Dental (formerly Watts Family Dental) specializes in preventative dental care for the whole family. Our office is always a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere, where individual patient needs are our principal interest.
The doctors and staff at Geha Family Dental aim to provide exceptional personal service and the highest-quality dental care in a preventative, proactive manner that serves to promote good dental health for the whole family. Every member of Geha Family Dental strives to advance the quality of our dental care practices through ongoing education and skills improvement. Our emphasis is on prevention, but we also offer a variety of specialized services to meet your individual needs.
Dr. Joseph Geha
Dr. Joe Geha joined the family dental practice as new owner late in 2021. He grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. He attended Rockhurst High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washburn University, where he was a student athlete. As a graduate of the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2018, he was a recipient of the Excellence in Prosthodontics award and is well versed in the full scope of preventative and restorative procedures. He has a special interest in esthetic dentistry and prosthodontics. Dr. Geha currently lives in Overland Park with his wife, Sarah, and their twin boys.
Dr. Douglas Watts
Dr. Doug Watts is a lifelong resident of Johnson County. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and served three years as a dentist for the United States military. He has received special training in restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Watts is an active member of the American Dental Association. He and his family are active in their church, their community, and a variety of sporting interests. His father, Dr. Dale Watts, started the practice over 50 years ago. The practice is now serving the second and third generations of many Overland Park area families.
In 2021, Dr. Watts announced that he would be retiring soon after practicing dentistry for 33 years. In Dr. Geha, he found someone he could trust to take over the dental practice. But Dr. Watts isn’t leaving yet! He’ll be in the Geha Family Dental office treating patients as always for years to come.
